This magnificent elephant, which had turned to face a group of people,was snapped by a friend on Safari in Africa.  Dawn kindly photographed lots of animals for me to paint.  I decided on a question for the title as I do wonder what the future holds for these beautiful animals with so many killed due to poaching.  Let's hope it's a good one.
Painted in acrylic, on canvas and framed in a pale grey/brown it measures H19.25" x W15.25" (49 x 39cm)
