Hello, I'm Jo Elliott, an artist living in Devon.

I am largely self taught but I gained an HNC in Illustration at North Devon College when I was in my late thirties.

I have drawn and painted animals since I was old enough to hold a pencil and they are, and always will be, my inspiration and absolute passion.

I like using pastels, acrylics, watercolour with pen & ink and, my favourite, gouache.

I have a mission to paint bold, beautiful and bright paintings to inject some colour into the world!

I have added a Link to a company called Takker, they produce the most amazing little gadgets to hang pictures (and more).  A friend recommended one as I have to wait for AGES to get hubby to hang pictures, now I never bother him at all as it's so easy to use!

I'm not in the habit of recommending things but this gadget is marvellous!  Go and have a look.
